“My daughter started working with Carrie almost 18 months ago. I had noticed a continued slide in english and got very little help from her school. I was looking for an expert in reading and the OG method. There were very few available. I spoke to another highly rated tutor and she did not have availability. However she recommended Carrie to me. She was able to evaluate my son and worked with him twice a week (online) for several months. He has made a lot of progress! He learned how to use his phone calendar to schedule activities and class projects. Using different critical thinking skills games and activities, Ms. Henry helped him think outside the box more. She gave me ideas of things to work with him at home. “We have had the pleasure of our son working with Carrie since fall of 2019 when he was starting 5th grade. Carrie has been able to offer tailored interventions to our son's reading/spelling issues over this time. She has also been able to integrate executive functioning strategies to help him as well.
