Parent Workshops
Occasionally 30-45 minute parent workshops are offered online or in-person. Topics may include: Kindergarten Readiness, Multisensory Learning, Executive Function Skills, and Learning Sight Words. Pre-registration is required. Dates, times, topics, and registration information for upcoming public events will be posted here, as well as on the New Journeys in Literacy LLC Facebook page as the events are scheduled. Private groups may also request workshops for members of their organizations.
Homeschool Book Clubs (ages 8 - 17)
Does your homeschooler enjoy participating in book discussions? Small group book clubs are available for homeschoolers looking for a way to connect with others through the shared interest of reading. Groups are formed and books are selected based on students’ ages and interests. Parents are responsible for ordering the book for the participating student. A calendar of meeting times and reading assignments will be provided prior to the first session. Pre-registration is required.
